- Was First State Bank acquired or sold?
No, First State Bank was not acquired or sold during the rebranding, we are and always will remain local.
- What’s the timeline for the new name?
The new name is official June 5th, 2023. During the transition period you see both names, but there is no need to worry. The transition period will wrap up third quarter 2023.
- Will the Bank's contact information change?
Our phone numbers remain the same; however, our website URL and email addresses will change to
dayspring.bank. Our current URL and emails will work for a transition time, and automatically redirect to the new ones starting June 5th.- What about my account(s), debit card, and checks? Will there be any changes?
There will be no changes to your account(s) or account number(s). You can continue to use your debit card and checks as normal, and as new cards or checks are ordered, they’ll be updated with the new branding. Overall, everything will continue to work as usual.
- Can I continue to use Online Banking and the Mobile app?
Yes, nothing is changing with online banking or our app at this time. We are working to update both with our new brand.
- Will there be a change with employees?
No, our staff will remain the same. We will continue to be the same friendly faces you know and trust.
- Will the routing number change?
No, our routing number will stay the same - 104901610.
- Are there any changes to other First State Bank divisions?
Wallace Agency
Our insurance office in Wallace, Nebraska will be changing to Dayspring Insurance Agency.
American Mortgage Company
Our FSA lending office in North Platte, Nebraska will be under the Dayspring Bank name.
American Agency
Our insurance office in North Platte, Nebraska will continue to operate under the name American Agency.
Gothenburg Insurance
Our crop insurance office in Gothenburg, Nebraska will be changing to Dayspring Insurance.
Gothenburg Investments
Our investments office in Gothenburg, Nebraska will be changing to Dayspring Investments.
- Are there any changes in FDIC insurance coverage on my accounts?
No, the bank's FDIC registration and insurance coverage does not change and is not affected.
- What if I still see the name and logo of First State Bank?
During the transition period you will see both names and logos. The transition will wrap up third quarter 2023.
- I didn't receive a letter explaining the name change, how can I get a copy?
